With almost 34 million, the province of Henan reported the largest number of rural people working in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. A large agricultural labor force was also reported from the rural areas of Sichuan and Shandong. As expected, the largest number of non-agricultural laborers in rural areas was reported from Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces. |
